Star Cruises signs order to build HK$3.9b ship with German shipyard
SINGAPORE: Star Cruises has signed an agreement with German shipbuilder Jos. L. Meyer to build a HK$3.9b ship. That’s US$500 million or S$818 million. Star Cruises, the world’s third largest cruise ship operator, will pay a fifth of the cost from its existing funds and borrow the balance.
